A Study Of Losses is the seventh studio album from Beirut, the musical project led by Zach Condon. In spring 2023, Viktoria Dalborg from the Swedish circus Kompani Giraff invited Condon to create music for their show adapted from a German novel by Judith Schalansky. The book and the show focus on the concept of loss and the impermanence of things, from extinct animals to abstract ideas of loss through aging. This album is a remarkable piece of music. With 18 songs and nearly an hour of playtime, it's Beirut's largest and one of their most beautiful albums to date. It comes as a transparent blue double - vinyl pressing (note: actual color and packaging may vary from the mock - up). It's a limited edition released by the Pompeii label in 2025. Pre - order now! All vinyl pre - orders include Turntable Lab stickers. Check our pre - order policy: make separate orders for additional items, ship dates are estimates and may change, and we'll contact you in case of a substantial delay.

Using this vinyl record is easy. First, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the record at the start of the groove. You can then enjoy Beirut's amazing music. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, standing upright in a record sleeve to prevent warping. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources. If the vinyl gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust from the grooves. And remember, the actual color and packaging of the vinyl may differ from the mock - up photo.
