Description

AOI: Bionix is De La Soul's sixth studio album, released on December 4, 2001. It features guest appearances from Slick Rick, B - Real, Cee - Lo, Devin The Dude and more. The first single, 'Baby Phat' with Yummy Bingham and Devin the Dude, pays tribute to plus - sized women. 'Held Down' with Cee - Lo has Posdnuos reflecting on fatherhood, religion, and fame. Slick Rick shows up in 'What We Do (For Love)', a funny song about puberty and sexual discovery. The album has skits of Reverend Do Good, which serve as social commentary and song introductions/endings. The last skit advertises Ghost Weed, as heard in their previous album. This black double - vinyl pressing has been remastered for better audio. It comes with printed inner sleeves and a printed insert. It's been over 22 years since it was last on vinyl. Originally released in 2001, it's now re - issued by Chrysalis in 2023. Also available are other De La Soul releases like 3 Feet High And Rising on 180g vinyl 2LP, cassette versions, and more.

Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on a compatible turntable, gently drop the needle on the record's groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the record, which could affect the sound quality. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent warping. When not in use, keep it in its protective sleeve to avoid scratches. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust. For more stubborn dirt, you can use a specialized vinyl cleaning solution, but follow the instructions carefully.
