Description

Rare Ashra live session with Ariel Pink on bass and vocals! Manuel Gottsching's vast catalog of proto - techno, ambient, psych and kraut gems is a big inspiration. Since Ariel Pink's 'Dedicated To Bobby Jameson' dropped a few months ago, his last four albums have been on repeat in our office. The unique union of these brilliant minds, including Pink collaborator Shags Chamberlain and Aussie multi - instrumentalist Oren Ambarchi, was initiated when Gottsching was invited to the 'Supersense' music festival in Melbourne in 2015. His wife's idea of performing Ash Ra Tempel classics led to this 'Experience'. They chose pieces from 'Schwingungen' and 'Seven Up' for the group performance. After email exchanges, they met for a rehearsal two days before the concert. Mick Glossop created a great mix that captures the concert atmosphere. This black vinyl comes in a gatefold sleeve with extensive liner notes by Gottsching and a printed inner sleeve with rehearsal and performance photos. It's a must - have for head trippers, psych freaks and kraut enthusiasts. Music label: MG.ART 2017.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, simply place it on your turntable and start playing. Make sure your turntable is clean and properly calibrated for the best sound quality. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. After each use, gently clean the vinyl with a soft brush to remove any dust. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original gatefold sleeve to protect it from damage. The liner notes are a great addition, so take some time to read them and learn more about the music and the artists.
