Circuitry: She's Just That Type Vinyl 12

We've all heard the line “She does all the things that I like”. This electric boogie track by the unknown group Circuitry, credited to Electro Wayne and Lo Joe, is a bit of a mystery. We think it might be another 80s boogie treasure found by the PPU crew, just like previous releases from Dwight Sykes, Midnight Express, and Uku Kuut. But modern funk fans like Benedek and Moon B are really good at this sound, so it's hard to be sure. The A-side is an awesome uptempo funk track with a lush synth lead and a super catchy hook. It could've been a late 80s club hit by Dynasty or Mtume. There's also an instrumental version for DJs. The B-side, “Under Pressure”, has a cheeky Prince - like drum machine rhythm and a simple synth bassline, perfect for the dancefloor. Music label: Peoples Potential Unlimited 2017.
