Now, they're back with their best work yet on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label. On Mood Valiant, the quartet makes greater use of the recording studio than before. For example, the track “Get Sun” features lush strings and horns arranged by Brazilian jazz - funk legend Arthur Verocai. Songs like “Chivalry Is Not Dead” and “All The Words We Don't Say” have an intensity missing from previous releases. Maybe it's because of Palm's near - death experience or FlyLo's influence, making “Shaolin Monk Motherfunk” seem mild in comparison.
