It seems that Common has truly got his act together this time. On the album Be, he's back to his prime, blending fire, emotion, politics, and classic raps perfectly. Kanye West produced most of it, with two tracks by Dilla. If you're a fan of either artist, this album is a must - have. It's a concise 11 - track gem, and every song has its charm. Standout tracks include 'The Corner', 'Go', the live 'The Food' from The Chapelle Show, 'Chi - City', 'Faithful', and 'It's Your World' produced by Jay Dee.
