In January 2015 (1/30/15), surviving Mad Season members Mike McCready and Barrett Martin reunited in Seattle for a one - off concert. This grunge rock supergroup, which once included Layne Staley of Alice In Chains and John Baker Saunders of The Walkabouts, only had one album before this show. At the concert, McCready and Martin were joined by Soundgarden's Chris Cornell, Pearl Jam members Matt Cameron, Stone Gossard, and Jeff Ament, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan, and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. They played orchestral and solo versions of Mad Season's original works, plus Temple Of The Dog's 'Call Me A Dog' and 'Reach Down'. Recorded live at Benaroya Hall, it's now available as a double vinyl album on Pearl Jam's Monkeywrench Records. Features a purple translucent vinyl pressing, with only 1900 copies in this colorway. Music label: Monkeywrench Records 2015 / 2016. Reviewed by RKCNDY 10/2015.
