Little Dragon are back with their fourth album, Nabuma Rubberband, a standout in recent pop music. Fronted by the smoky - voiced Yukimi Nagano, this Swedish band blends dance and downtempo music, mixing slow jams with upbeat moments. Their unique approach to pop breaks genre boundaries while still appealing to the masses. Nagano channels Prince and Janet Jackson, forging her own path. The rhythmic backdrop by Erik Boden, Fred Wallin, and Håkan Wirenstrand is as experimental as ever, borrowing from R&B, electro, pop, and dance.
