Ariel Pink's 11th album! The title pays a sincere tribute to a real - life LA musician, long thought dead, who reappeared online in 2007 after 35 years of seclusion to write his tragic life story. Pink says, 'His book and life touched me deeply, so I dedicated my latest record to him.' 'Dedicated to Bobby Jameson' has a unique flow, starting at the end and ending at the beginning. As Pink explains, 'We follow the protagonist through tests and milestones, like in the opening track 'Time To Meet Your God' where he's reborn from death.' The character then oscillates between innocent love and childhood traumas, entering the world of artifice.
