Description

La Roux's debut self-titled album is back on vinyl for the first time since 2009! This year has been a huge success for La Roux. Starting from a 12' on Kitsune last year, it has now become a self-titled LP certified gold in the UK, with two top-ten singles and big remixes. Now it's finally available in the US. La Roux consists of Elly Jackson on vocals and Ben Langmaid on synths, creating catchy synth-pop. 'Bulletproof' is super catchy and great for dancefloors. 'In For The Kill' remixed by Skream is very popular, and 'Quicksand' is also danceable. 'Cover My Eyes' is a nice mid-tempo ballad, while 'As If By Magic' and 'Fascination' have new wave pop charm. All tracks are well-crafted. It's rare to find an album without skippable parts these days, and this is one of them. Highly recommended! This 180g black vinyl is housed in a gatefold jacket with a printed inner sleeve and includes a foldout poster. Originally released in 2009, it's from the Polydor label in 2022.

To enjoy this La Roux vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the vinyl from the gatefold jacket and place it on the turntable. Set the tonearm carefully on the record. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. Then, put the vinyl back in the jacket. Keep the vinyl away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. Clean the vinyl regularly with a soft record brush to keep the sound quality great. And don't forget to store the album in a cool, dry place.
