Drugdealer, aka Michael Collins, is back with a fantastic collection of classic American pop and country - fried melodies. Joined by old friends like Shags Chamberlain, Josh Da Costa, Jackson McIntosh and new ones such as Dougie Poole, Harley Hill - Richmond, Benjamin Schwab. There's also the notable return of Natalie Mering (Weyes Blood), whose performances on two songs from The End Of Comedy make this LP a must - play at Lab HQ even this week. Robert Beatty returns too, creating some wonderful artwork. The lead single “Fools” has that Neil Diamond - like quality with decadent pop swagger, circular sunglasses, great vocal harmonies and saxophone. It's on par with recent works of Ariel Pink, Mild High Club, and classic bands like Fleetwood Mac and Doobies.
