They ditch most lyrics and percussion, using soundscapes to stir deep emotions. Byrd says, 'Not to be arrogant, but just as far as the music and the expression, it was exactly what it needed to be,' and we agree. Dedicated to Byrd's sister after the loss of his nephew during recording, the album features ambient pads, shoegazing guitar, ethereal strings, and heavenly choral elements. These create soothing melodies that will immerse you during the over - hour listening. It's gentle yet has a bittersweet undertone across 11 tracks, making it a perfect headphone experience.
