Description

Open Box / B-Stock Notes: The exterior grade is 8.0 out of 10, showing very good condition with some surface wear. Cosmetic details are not applicable. The item has been tested and functions properly. The original exterior packaging may show damage. Note that all open box / b-stock items are final sale. Lab Points: This 'step up' entry-level model is an upgrade from the bestselling AT-LP60X. It's plug-and-play ready with a built-in preamp for easy connection to any AUX input. The fully-automatic operation is controlled by start and stop buttons for the tonearm and motor. The auto-stop function returns the tonearm and turns off the motor at the end of a record. It comes with an ATVM95C cartridge that can be upgraded with any VM95 Series stylus and a removable dust cover. Comparison with LP60X: The LP70X has a larger 3-piece body for better vibration handling, weighs about 1 lb more, and is 1.25 inches wider. It has an upgradeable VM95 Series stylus, a more detailed J-shaped and longer tonearm for better tracking and sound, RCA outputs, a tonearm lift lever for manual cueing, and a tonearm lock to prevent accidental jumps. Key Features: It has a belt-drive motor, plays 33/45rpm records, an aluminum platter and plastic body, a switchable built-in phono preamp. Dimensions are 16 x 13 x 4.3 inches (400 x 330 x 110mm) and it weighs 6.4 lbs (2.9 kg). Comes With: Removable dust cover, record mat, RCA cable, and 45 adaptor.

Using your Audio-Technica AT-LP70X turntable is a breeze. First, connect it to your audio system using the RCA cable that comes with it. If you want, you can switch on the built - in phono preamp, but you can also turn it off if your audio system already has a preamp. Place a record on the platter, and if it's a 45rpm record, use the 45 adaptor. Press the start button, and the tonearm will move to the record and start playing. At the end of the record, the auto - stop function will return the tonearm and turn off the motor. To manually cue a record, use the tonearm lift lever. Remember to lock the tonearm when you're not using the turntable to prevent it from accidentally jumping onto the record. For maintenance, keep the turntable clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior and the platter. The removable dust cover helps protect the turntable from dust. If you want to upgrade the sound, you can change the stylus with any VM95 Series stylus. Also, note that this is an open - box item, and all sales are final, so handle it with care.
