Their late 80s take on avant - garde jazz combines new wave funk, ambient, and spoken word for a truly distinct sound. Trumpetist Heinz Becker and Pianist Karl - Heinz Stegmann met actress Isabel Zeumer at a Wuppertal event. They created a programme on Else Lasker - Schüler, a leading German expressionist poet. Their performances, blending readings of Lasker - Schüler's works with experimental music, were very popular and televised. Responding to the strong feedback, they released their album ‘Ich Trüme So Leise Von Dir’ on ITM Records. This album combines jazz and electronics, embracing ambient and new wave elements, taking music and spoken word to a unique realm. Music label: Music From Memory 2016.
