In 2015, post-vaporwave artist George Clanton released his debut under his real name, following influential vapor scene projects under various aliases like Esprit ¿ÕÏë, Mirror Kisses, and Kid's Garden. Named after his then-growing bedroom label (now a DIY powerhouse), the album blends 80s new romantic and 90s TRL rock through a vaporwave filter, delivering oddly satisfying results. 2018's Slide took the audio JNCO aesthetic further, but this album is full of wide-eyed wonder and confidence from writing full songs after years of pitching down samples. I personally love this record. I found 'Warmspot' last year and have listened to it daily since. This standard edition comes on blue & red splatter colored vinyl, a limited edition of 500.
