This is the third studio album from the Australian psych band King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard. It's where the band first started playing together with that intuitive in - the - pocket feeling. The epic Gizzhead anthem 'Head On/Pill' emerged during their live jamming and improvising sessions. They quickly recorded it with Paul Maybury before they forgot it, and Eric returned to the drum kit. The rest of the album consists of home recordings made in Darraweit Guim, Deniliquin, and Anglesea, with a very Aussie vibe. They were experimenting with synths, sitar, and odd time signatures, aiming for a psychedelic sound. This album is now available on yellow colored vinyl for the first time since 2013. It's an indie exclusive with a printed inner sleeve and includes a 24'x24' foldout poster. Music label: Flightless 2018.
To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the vinyl from the sleeve by holding it at the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. Place it on the turntable and set the tonearm carefully on the lead - in groove. You can then sit back and enjoy the unique psychedelic sounds of the Australian psych band. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm gently and return it to its rest. Put the vinyl back in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. Also, be careful with the foldout poster; you can display it on your wall or keep it flat in a poster tube to maintain its quality.
