This record follows Kirby's 2020 solo debut My Garden on Stones Throw and the ambient album Conflict, recently released on vinyl. Septet adds a new layer to Kirby's ability to create unforgettable moods. It's a 7 - piece jazz - funk ensemble playing Kirby's instrumental works, presented on a black double vinyl pressing from Stones Throw in 2021.
