Description

The Line Phono Dubby is a dual - purpose record stabilizer that offers amazing benefits for your turntable. Firstly, it serves as a standard record weight. Just place it on the spindle, and it immediately helps reduce unwanted vibrations, which significantly improves the sound quality of your turntable. It also flattens the play surface temporarily, enhancing your listening experience. With a medium weight of 0.77 lbs (0.35 kg), it's perfect for belt - drive turntables, putting less stress on the motor. Its low - profile design, only 1.5 inches high, is compatible with low - clearance dust covers. What's more, it works on all turntables and features custom Line Phono graphics. Secondly, when you need more stabilization, activate the tightening mechanism. The screw - top design applies pressure onto the spindle to firmly hold the Dubby in place. Note that while it won't fix warped records, it can flatten them to a certain extent. Key features include a diameter of 3.125 inches (79mm), a height of 1.5 inches (38mm), and a weight of 0.77 lbs (0.35 kg).

Using the Line Phono Dubby is easy. To use it as a standard record weight, simply place it on the spindle of your record. If you want to use the screw stabilizer function, first place the stabilizer on the record. Then, with one hand, grip the lower disc by its edges and press down. With your other hand, turn the upper disc clockwise until it's tight. To release it, twist the upper disc counter - clockwise. Keep in mind that this product won't fix warped records completely, but it can help flatten them a bit. For maintenance, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it clean. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the custom graphics and the surface of the Dubby. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
