His seventh record, 'City Pop', features largely autobiographical songs recorded in NYC, LA, Tokyo, Paris, and his Amsterdam studio. Like Japanese city pop, it uses '70s yacht rock and AOR elements, but Benny adds his '90s hip - hop grooves. Stand - out tracks are 'Not Enough' and 'Softly (Tokyo)' with Cornelius.
