Interpol: Antics (Red Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Now that the big 'New York Rock' stars are on their second LPs, it's time to see if they can deliver. But Manhattan's Interpol has avoided the sophomore slump. They went to Connecticut and recorded another great album of catchy goth, Joy Division - inspired post - punk and alternative rock. The single 'Slow Hands' starts with a disco beat and a sick bassline. 'Evil' is bass - driven, with a cool snare shuffle in the pre - chorus like Sonic Youth. Tracks like 'Not Even Jail' and 'C'Mere' are top - notch, and so are the other 10 songs. It's a real satisfying listen. This is the 20th anniversary edition on red colored vinyl. It includes a printed insert and is a limited edition. Originally released in 2004, it's now on the Matador label in 2024. Reviewed by Nick Catchdubs in 05/2005.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is set up properly. Gently place the red vinyl on the turntable. Use the tonearm to carefully lower the needle onto the start of the record. Sit back and enjoy the amazing Interpol music. When you're done, lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. Store the vinyl in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality. Don't touch the playing surface with your fingers as it can leave oils and damage the sound. If it gets dirty, use a proper record cleaning brush to gently clean it.
