Green Day: Nimrod Vinyl 2LP

The fifth album from Bay Area punks Green Day, Nimrod, is a gem. Billy Joe Armstrong and the gang aimed to record standalone songs instead of a unified album. The highlight is the acoustic 'Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)', a song predating Dookie but recorded during the Nimrod sessions. It was a huge crossover hit, becoming one of their most - requested songs and even appearing in Seinfeld's final season. This 20th anniversary edition is pressed on double vinyl for the first time (previously, 18 tracks were on a single LP). It features a custom etching on the D - side and comes in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with lyrics and detailed liner notes inside. Also included are great tracks like 'Hitchin A Ride', 'King For A Day', and 'Nice Guys Finish Last'. It's a 2021 pressing from Reprise Records.
