After the release of his grand epic Flamagra and a Grammy nomination for Producer of the Year for Thundercat's It Is What It Is, Flying Lotus presents an original soundtrack for Netflix's 2021 anime series Yasuke. He serves as the executive producer and composer, retelling the story of the first African samurai in feudal Japan who served Oda Nobunaga. Directed by LeSean Thomas, starring Lakeith Stanfield, and designed by Takeshi Koike, this series is a masterpiece. Flying Lotus' score for Yasuke is a standout in his musical works, influenced by his previous instrumental and vocal pieces, and looking forward to the future. The music combines jazz and electronic elements, with appearances from Thundercat, Denzel Curry, and Niki Randa. This red colored vinyl is a limited edition.
