In the summer of 2018, Chilean electronic musician and vocalist Nicolas Jaar, along with American multi - instrumentalist Dave Harrington, rented a house in present - day Flemington, New Jersey. They spent a week there, crafting one song each day. Although it took another year and a half to finish their second album, six tracks from the new record 'Spiral' were born during this initial session. Jaar says, 'From the start, DARKSIDE has been our jam project, something we did on our days off. When we got back together, we couldn't wait to jam again.' Harrington agrees, 'It felt like the right time.' DARKSIDE allows them to do things they'd never attempt alone. This is the second full - length album from Jaar and Harrington, following 2013's Psychic LP. It comes as a black double vinyl pressing, housed in a full - color gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves and a printed insert. The music is released by Matador in 2021.

Using this vinyl is easy. Just place it on your record player's turntable, gently lower the tonearm onto the vinyl's edge, and let the music play. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface, as this can affect the sound quality. After each use, store the vinyl back in its gatefold jacket to protect it from dust and scratches. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove any debris. Keep the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping.
