These cuts, miraculously preserved on a 30 - year - old cassette, have been lovingly transferred by Peyton Records. The Love Demos offer a peek at the smooth and funky R&B sound Peyton and Skinner were promoting in the early 80s, similar to the styles of Kashif or D - Train, with groovy synth bass, sexy chords, and drum machines. Strangely, these tracks were unreleased until now, yet the duo went on to write for big names like Howard Johnson, Melba Moore, Will Collins, Joe, NSYNC, and Freddie Jackson. Peyton shares how he and Jolyon Skinner met in the early '80s through mutual friend Keith Diamond. Their first big break was in 1983 with Howard Johnson's 'Let This Dream Be Real'. This album is a must - have for boogie lovers. Features include unreleased demos on vinyl for the first time, transferred from the original cassette, and it's from Peyton Records 2016.
