Description

Step back in time with Iron And Wine. Sam Beam made his mark in 2002 with his debut album, The Creek Drank The Cradle. His unique indie - folk style, featuring acoustic guitars, banjo, and slide guitar, has been compared to legends like Nick Drake, Simon and Garfunkel, Elliott Smith, Neil Young, and John Fahey. Over the years, he's incorporated pop elements, but his folk roots remain strong. Archive Series Volume No.1 gathers unreleased early - era Iron And Wine tracks. Most songs are just voice and guitar, yet Beam crafts complex arrangements. It's amazing we're hearing this material for the first time. Each song in this strong collection stands on its own. With more recordings in the works, hopefully, there'll be more Archive Series volumes. Music label: Black Cricket Recording Co. 2015. Reviewed by Michu Meszaros 04/2015.

To enjoy this Iron And Wine vinyl set, simply place the record on your turntable and gently drop the needle on the groove. Make sure your turntable is clean and properly set up for the best sound quality. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. After each use, store the vinyl in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the record gets dirty, you can use a soft, anti - static brush to clean it. This way, you can keep your Iron And Wine Archive Series Volume 1 in great condition and enjoy it for years to come.
