This 2015 repress of 'Shadows' is one of Sam Shepherd's top - notch releases, presented as a double EP. Under the Floating Points alias, Shepherd masterfully blends rich percussion with catchy and calming melodies, taking the dancefloor to new heights. At times, it gives vibes similar to Four Tet or Caribou, but with a stronger jazzy touch that Theo Parrish would love. Check out tracks like 'Myrtle Ave', 'Realise', 'Obfuse', 'ARP3', and the outstanding 'Sais'. It comes in a gatefold sleeve and is great for both dancing and listening on headphones.
