Hailed as possibly the best album of the 90s, 'Post' is a masterpiece by Bjork. For this second album, Bjork and her collaborators went to the Bahamas, recording at Compass Point Studios, famous for sessions by Grace Jones, Bob Marley and more. There are wild rumors about Bjork recording vocals in a cave, on the beach with a long mic cord, or even nude in the studio! After fulfilling her house music dreams on 'Debut', Bjork broadens her musical scope, bringing in industrial, IDM, modern classical and trip - hop textures. She teams up with Tricky, Deodato, Guy Sigsworth and Graham Massey of 808 State. Nellee Hooper helps with six tracks, especially the moving 'Hyperballad'. Bjork's sessions with Massey predate 'Debut' but were held back until 'Post' release. This album features some of Bjork's most memorable performances, from the Broadway - like 'It's Oh So Quiet' to 'Possibly Maybe' sampled by DJ Shadow a year later. 'Post' solidifies Bjork as a unique and world - class artist. It's pressed on 180g black vinyl, originally released in 1995 and re - issued by One Little Indian in 2015. Highly recommended!

To enjoy this 180g vinyl LP of Bjork's 'Post', first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and use the tonearm to carefully lower the needle onto the starting groove. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm and place it back in its rest position. Then, remove the record and store it in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep the record in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, use a vinyl record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers as the oils can damage the record over time.
