This is a late 60s live recording of Fela Kuti and His Africa 70. 'Fela Fela Fela' was first recorded in 1969 when Fela Kuti lived in Hollywood. The band played six nights at the Citadel de Haiti on Sunset Boulevard, and these songs were captured there. Originally released in 1970 in Nigeria, these cuts later appeared on the album 'The '69 Los Angeles Sessions'. There are four tracks in total. It's a limited edition 10' vinyl released by Knitting Factory in 2010. Reviewed in 06/2016 by summer fit.
