The first Beat Konductor double 7' was a beloved Stones Throw release, with simple black labels and tracks that end just as you get into the groove. It's really exciting to see a full LP of Madlib's beat sketches in the Special Herbs style. Madlib takes these beats beyond the basic loops of Doom's series. Like Doom, there are plenty of mysterious samples to captivate even the most jaded beat enthusiasts, and strange synth sounds to puzzle studio experts. Highlights include Madlib's revisits of Kraftwerk and JB favorites on 'Open' and 'The Payback', the energetic sounds of 'Sir Bang' and 'Painted Pictures', and the off - the - wall direction of 'Eternal Broadcaster' and 'Offbeat'. There are 16 beats in total, and it's highly recommended. Music label: Stones Throw 2005. Reviewed by the mgmnt 05/2009.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your record player, gently drop the needle, and enjoy the music. When handling the LP, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on the record, which could affect the sound quality. Store the LP in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Also, keep it in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. If it gets dirty, you can use a soft record cleaning brush to gently remove the dirt.
