Ben Guterl and Ava Trilling, who met in high school in Montclair, New Jersey, now live in Ohio and New York respectively. Their 'separate - but - collaborative writing process' led to the creation of their sophomore self - titled LP. Trilling's introspective lyrics explore relationships, discovery, and 'finding oneself adrift.' Despite the intimate themes and melancholic melodies, this 10 - track LP has a joyous aura, making it a truly intriguing musical project.
