Description

There's a lot to discover about this record. DUMP is the solo endeavor of James Mcnew, the bassist of Yo La Tengo. In 'NYC Tonight,' Mcnew revives the 1979 disco feel and applies it to a cover of GG Allin's song of the same title. It's an amazing achievement, and he makes it sound great! The track's catchy, laid - back lyrics, swinging melodies, and subtle disco beat will surely get stuck in your head. The flip side features a collaborative remix by Shintaro Sakamoto (ex - Yura - Yura Teikoku), with instrumentals for both. It comes in a SAM - style disco sleeve and includes a free MP3 download. It's manufactured by Presspop, the same folks who brought you the Lee Perry doll. Music label: Presspop 2012. Reviewed by TKB 08/2012.

To enjoy this product, simply download the free MP3 and listen on your preferred music player. You can also keep the physical record in its SAM - style disco sleeve in a cool, dry place to prevent damage. When handling the record, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints. There are no special instructions for playing the music, just sit back and let the catchy melodies and beats of 'NYC Tonight' and its remix take you away. Enjoy this unique solo project from Yo La Tengo's bassist!
