Year Of The Snitch is the first Death Grips LP since 2016's Bottomless Pit. Members Zach Hill and Andy Morin have been busy with their I.L.Y.'s side - project. For this album, MC Ride & co. collaborated with DJ Swamp, Tool bassist Justin Chancellor, and producer Andrew Adamson. The lead single 'Paint' is a relatively mellow track for Death Grips and could be played in a club. 'Black Paint' is a hardcore punk and sludge metal - infused song. High - energy tracks like 'Flies' and 'Ha Ha Ha' have the same vibe as 'Guillotine'.
