Blackest Ever Black's leading lady keeps moving forward as the label fades away (it's been almost 2 years). After moving from Berlin (originally from Melbourne) to London, she goes full DIY on her new Kallista imprint for this amazing second LP. We weren't super eager for it at first, just because we still love 'You Know What It's Like' - a record that's over 3 years old but still feels fresh. Plus, Carla released a really cool yet strange LP with her F Ingers project. This new LP is more straightforward pop than 'You Know', but still rooted in witchy art rock and dubwise post - kraut traditions. The songs are clearer, and even the instrumentals are more concise. 'No Trace' starts strong with Carla's all - business falsetto over a catchy bassline and MIDI flute stabs. The lead single 'So Much Better' shows her at ease, taunting her ex. 'Leaving For Japan' combines Augustus Pablo and Midori Takada. 'Heart Of Hearts' and 'Took A Long Time' are also highlights. It's a black vinyl pressing with a printed insert. Music label: Kallista Records 2019. Recommended.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the starting groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on it. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. After each use, put the vinyl back in its sleeve carefully to protect it from scratches. The printed insert is a nice addition, so keep it safe too as it may have some interesting information about the album.
