Beak: Beak II 2LP / CD

Geoff Barrow's Beak project presents its sophomore full - length album, 'II' or '>>'. This album delves deep into modern kraut - inspired rock. Using a bleak and minimal sound setup, Beak effortlessly combines the vibes of krautrock legends like Can, Amon Duul, and Neu in one go, with very few overdubs. It's amazing how they smoothly transition from driving motorik rhythms to discordant stoner metal and then to droning ambient tracks. Although the style differs from Barrow's Portishead project, you can still feel the same energy here (minus the female vocals). This import comes with 10 tracks, available on double vinyl or CD.
