DIIV frontman Zachary Cole Smith first shared his rendition of (Sandy) Alex G's “Icehead” last year as a solo recording. Now, the band's version is more approachable than the original. On the flip side, there's a cover of Sparklehorse's “Cow” from 1995. Smith and the band leave the tune mostly unchanged, capturing its twang and vulnerability. Both songs were previously on a limited - edition cassette. Now, Captured Tracks offers this limited 45 as part of their 10th - anniversary releases. It's clear vinyl, limited to 500 copies. Features include a 7” clear vinyl, covers of (Sandy) Alex G and Sparklehorse songs, side A at 33 RPM, side B at 45 RPM, and it's a Captured Tracks 2018 release.

Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on a compatible turntable. Make sure the turntable is set to the correct RPM - 33 for side A and 45 for side B. When handling the record, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This is a limited - edition item, so take extra care to keep it in good condition. Enjoy the unique covers by DIIV!
