Exclusive for Record Store Day Black Friday! This is a glow-in-the-dark 12" vinyl pressing of one of the greatest hip-hop tracks ever. Only 1982 copies were pressed worldwide, so hurry! According to DJ Ayres, 'Planet Rock' is the best hip-hop song ever. It's more important now as electro risks becoming a mere fashion statement. Compared to imitators, this track features bulletproof Arthur Baker drum machines, Kraftwerk synths, and a gangster bass line. Bambaataa uses a vocoded robot voice in the intro, and MC G.L.O.B.E. and the crew nail the raps and chants. You can also flip it over and scratch to the instrumental. Music labels are Tommy Boy 1982 / Get On Down 2014. Reviewed by Von Bee in 12/2014.

Using this vinyl record is simple. Just place it on your turntable and use the tonearm to play it. If you want to listen to the instrumental, just flip the record over. When handling the record, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oils on it. Store the record in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from scratches and dust. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Also, be gentle when removing and inserting the record into the sleeve to avoid any damage.
