Acetone: 1992-2001 Vinyl 2LP

Hey there! The long - awaited collection of cult indie rock trio Acetone is back in stock. This L.A. group traces its roots to the short - lived scuzz - rock band Spinout, which released a record in 1991 and then transformed into Acetone. From 1993 to 2001, they released several cult LPs on Virgin's Vernon Yard and Neil Young's Vapor imprint. However, their psych and surf - influenced sound couldn't stand out against the Seattle grunge wave. Tragically, the band's journey ended with the death of bassist Richie Lee in 2001. This compilation, beautifully put together by Light In The Attic, features 16 of their most loved tracks on double vinyl. It comes in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with an obi strip. Key tracks include “Shaker,” “Vibrato,” “Louise,” and “All The Time.” The black double vinyl pressing was originally released in 2017 and is under the Light In The Attic label in 2023.
