Sung Tongs was Animal Collective's breakthrough album. It features a stripped - down and harmonized sound, both psychedelic and experimental, which was well - received by critics and fans. With just Panda Bear and Avey Tare on acoustic guitars, this sound evolved in later works like Feels, Strawberry Jam, and Merriweather Post Pavilion. The album includes tracks such as 'Who Could Win A Rabbit,' 'Leaf House,' etc., with 12 tracks spread over 2 LPs. This 2021 Domino edition comes with a black double vinyl pressing and a digital download. The original release was in 2004. Highly recommended!
