Maricopa brings four tracks of glistening house music. This young producer is back at Back To The Balearics to finish his 'Pastel Love' series. His sound has a clear Norwegian touch, with hints of Lindstrom and Todd Terje showing up across the four tracks. There are plenty of warm pads and precise percussion driving the music forward. 'Rise', the opening track, is likely to get people dancing the most, but 'Savannas' with its slow build isn't far behind. 'Goldmine' takes a different turn, slowing things down to a future - lounge vibe. Field recording samples wrap up the album on 'Balcony Life'. It's perfect for beachfront dancefloors.
