The UK's Jonny Miller is making waves on vinyl. First, he had his JM Edits for Sweden's G.A.M.M. Enterprises. Now, he presents a fantastic four - track release for UK - based KAT Recordings. He starts with an edit of 'That's The Way Love Is,' taking the lesser - known Xavier Naidoo version of the Ten City hit for a deeper sound. 'Angola' by Cesaria Evora gets a house - style makeover with added bass that respects the original. As we move on to Warp 9's 'Light Years Away,' it receives a classic no - frills edit. Miller wraps up with a break - heavy edit of People's Choice's 1976 funk track 'Cold Blooded & Down - Right Funky.' Music label: Kat 2014. Reviewed by Joey Coco 04/2014.
