Detroit's Jeedo, also known as Waajeed of Platinum Pied Pipers and Bling47 fame, has connected many key Detroit players like Slum Village and Dwele. In the past 10 years, he's delivered some of the most unforgettable Hip Hop and Soul music. His latest release, a picture disc 12 - inch for Los Angeles' Spills Records, takes a new production direction aimed at getting people dancing in the club. 'Make It Boom' is a mid - tempo electro funk track with emotional keys, Art Of Noise samples, and a great groove similar to 'My Boo'. The flip side brings us back to Hip Hop with a nice rework of Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls' over a crisp drum break. Another top - notch release from Spills. Music label: Spills 2012.
