The British duo's folk - inspired 2008 album, Seventh Tree, is finally available on vinyl outside the UK! This is the fourth studio album by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory. At first, it got mixed reviews as it moved away from their early synth - pop sound. But over a decade later, it's one of their most unforgettable works. The album combines acoustic plucking and arpeggiated synths, creating a blend of psychedelia and electronica, different from their previous three albums. Goldfrapp's vocals, often compared to Kate Bush, here are more like Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins, with lyrical surrealism and a soothing quality. It comes on yellow - colored vinyl, in a gatefold sleeve with an exclusive art print. It's a limited edition from music label Mute in 2021. Reviewed by SHH! in 05/2021.

Place the vinyl gently on the turntable and start playing. After use, always return the vinyl to its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches.
