Solange advised in season 1, and despite her busy schedule, music supervisor Kier Lehman, along with Issa Rae and Melina Matsoukas, filled the LP with music from big - name and independent artists. From Jazmine Sullivan & Bryson Tiller's title track to GoldLink's 'Crew,' Rico Nasty's 'Poppin,' and Jorja Smith's 'Fine Lines,' the rap/R&B - heavy tracklist is as engaging as the show. Issa's spoken words are amazing! Other must - listen tracks include SZA's 'Quicksand' and 'Supermodel,' Bryson Tiller's 'Run Me Dry,' and NAO's 'Feels Like.' Highly recommended.
