The Benidub DS01E is a boutique analog synthesizer module that creates authentic dub sirens. The new 'E' model comes with a built - in echo delay, offering a simplified and mix - ready unit. Inspired by classic synth - drum modules used in reggae and dancehall sound systems, it features 100% analog circuitry, producing fat and aggressive tones. You can intuitively shape the sound with individual rotary knobs for master volume, siren tone, LFO rate & pitch, echo delay, feedback, filter, and volume. There are 4 classic DS01 dub siren tones to pick from: sine 1, sine 2, test tone, and square. The combined HP/LP resonant filters have variable frequency, allowing you to fine - tune the delay according to your needs. With 3 switchable LFO modulation speeds, plus manual mode and echo cut, you can make the rhythm your own. The new trigger design lets you push upwards for a temporary siren and downwards for a continuous tone. You can also select low, mid, or high preset pitch frequencies. A power supply is included. This is our enhanced take on the classic dub siren. We started from the original circuit of DS01 and added all the features we've always wanted in a reliable dub siren. It has a sturdy case, an intuitive design for easy playability, and small circuit details that make it a great tool. Thanks to high - quality components and a precise build, the basic siren sound is fatter and smoother than ever. We integrated the DSP FV - 1 from our Digital Echo into the DS01 to create the DS01E, giving you that authentic dub sound system tone with an echo delay. It's 100% analog and hand - built in our facility.

Using the Benidub DS01E is a breeze. First, connect the power supply that comes with the unit to get it up and running. Then, you can start by choosing one of the four classic dub siren tones - sine 1, sine 2, test tone, or square. You can adjust the master volume to set the overall sound level. To shape the siren tone, use the dedicated rotary knob. The LFO rate and pitch knobs let you add a unique rhythm and pitch to the siren. For that cool echo effect, play around with the echo delay, feedback, filter, and volume knobs. You can select different LFO modulation speeds or even use the manual mode and echo cut to make the rhythm exactly how you want it. The new trigger design is simple: push upwards for a short siren blast and downwards for a continuous tone. You can also choose from low, mid, or high preset pitch frequencies. When it comes to maintenance, keep the unit in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you notice any dust, gently clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Don't try to open the case yourself as it's hand - built and any improper opening may damage the internal components. That's it! With these tips, you'll be able to enjoy the amazing sounds of the Benidub DS01E for a long time.
