The Illinois space rock band Hum is re - issuing their 1995 breakthrough album 'You'd Prefer An Astronaut' on 180g black double vinyl at 45 rpm. This album features the alternative radio hit 'Stars'. The band took charge of every step from re - mastering to manufacturing. Working with the original designer Andy Mueller, they've updated the artwork for the gatefold sleeve. Licensed from Sony Music and re - mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, Nashville, it also comes with a digital download. Originally released in 1995, this new version is from Earth Analog Records in 2023. Also available are Hum's 'Downward Is Heavenward' and 'Inlet' on 180g vinyl 2LP.

Using this vinyl record is simple. Just place it on a compatible turntable at 45 rpm and let the music play. When handling the record, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on the vinyl, which can affect the sound quality. Store the record in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. When not in use, keep it in its gatefold sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Enjoy your music with this great re - issue from Hum!
