Description

The Illinois space rock/alternative band Hum is re - issuing its classic album 'Downward Is Heavenward' on 180g black double vinyl at 33 1/3 rpm. This was Hum's final album before disbanding in 2000. The band members took charge of every step from re - mastering to manufacturing. They also worked with the original designer Andy Mueller to update the artwork, which is housed in a gatefold sleeve. Recorded by Mark Rubel at Pogo Studio and mixed by Brian Malouf at Pacifique, it's licensed from Sony Music and re - mastered by Ryan Smith. The album includes B - sides and bonus tracks like 'Puppets', 'Aphids', and 'Boy With Stick'. You'll also get a digital download. Originally released in 1997, it's now re - issued by Earth Analog Records in 2023. Also available are other Hum albums like 'You'd Prefer An Astronaut' and 'Inlet' on 180g vinyl 2LP.

Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently lower the needle onto the groove, and enjoy the music. Make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. To keep it in good shape, store it upright in a cool, dry place. If it gets dirty, use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris. Remember, this album comes with a digital download, so you can also enjoy it on your digital devices. Have a great listening experience!
