Description

Waltz for Debby is a legendary 1961 jazz album by American pianist Bill Evans and his first trio, featuring bassist Scott LaFaro and drummer Paul Motian. Recorded during the same session as Sunday At The Village Vanguard, it's a must - have for jazz lovers. Sadly, LaFaro passed away just ten days after the live recording, deeply affecting Evans. The title track, a musical portrait of Evans' niece, first appeared as a solo on his debut album and became his signature song. This black vinyl pressing on the Riverside 2021 label showcases the amazing emotive interplay between the musicians, setting a high standard for piano trio play.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the vinyl gently on the turntable, align the needle at the start of the groove, and let the music flow. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. After each use, put the vinyl back in its sleeve to protect it from dust. Store it vertically in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. If you notice any dust on the vinyl, use a soft, anti - static brush to clean it before playing.
