Description

Produced by Brian Eno, 'Q: Are We Not Men A: We Are Devo!' is a groundbreaking American new wave album. It was among the first pop albums to use synthesizers as a key textural element, paving the way for the subsequent synthesizer - pop boom. This album also revived the absurdist social satire of the Mothers of Invention, making punk rock's outsider alienation a haven for freaks and geeks. Devo's sound still has a huge cult following. It features classic tracks like 'Uncontrollable Urge', an amazing cover of '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction', 'Mongoloid' and 'Jocko Homo'. This is the debut full - length from an Ohio new wave band. It comes on golfball white colored vinyl with a printed insert. It's a limited edition of 4000, originally released in 1978 and re - issued by Warner Records in 2020.

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable, aligning it properly. Then, carefully lower the tonearm onto the record. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm gently and turn off the record player. Keep the vinyl away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture to prevent warping. After each use, wipe the vinyl with a soft, anti - static cloth to remove dust. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in a vertical position in its sleeve to avoid damage. Don't touch the playing surface of the vinyl with your bare hands as the oils from your skin can cause issues. If you notice any scratches, you can try using a vinyl repair kit, but be very careful when doing so.
