Speak & Spell is the first studio album of the English electronic band Depeche Mode, launched in October 1981 by Mute Records. It's the only album with Vince Clarke, who wrote most songs before leaving to form Yazoo and later Erasure. This album has a lighter tone and melody than their later works, thanks to Clarke's writing. After his departure, Martin Gore took over song - writing, exploring darker themes in later albums. The title refers to the popular Speak & Spell electronic toy. It's a 1981 debut from an influential new wave/synth pop band, pressed on 180g black vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket with a printed inner sleeve, and released by Reprise in 2014.

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable, center it, and then carefully lower the tonearm onto the record. Enjoy the music! When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. After use, put the record back in its sleeve and the gatefold jacket to protect it from dust and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, and keep it upright to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl record cleaning brush to gently remove dust.
