The debut album from rapper and actor Donald 'I Love MIGOS' Glover. Before this, there were the 2010 'Culdesac' mixtape and 2011 'EP'. 'Camp' is the first official full - length release of Glover's hip - hop project 'Childish Gambino'. Collaborating with Ludwig Göransson, the in - house composer for Glover's sitcom 'Community', Glover's debut is both ahead of the curve and very much of its time. Influenced by Eminem, Kanye West, and contemporary artists, his songs are deeply reflective. He addresses his race and sexuality with cheeky punchlines, showing he doesn't take himself too seriously. 'Bonfire' seems inspired by Weezy's 'A Milli', and his rap voice is a bit like Tyler The Creator's, but he can sing well, as heard in 'Letter Home' where his voice resembles Frank Ocean's.
